Magnetic Drive Pumps

OzPump is proud to supply a range of mechanical seals used in centrifugal pumps. Mechanical seals act as a check valve and a slider bearing. The function is that of a check valve to prevent liquid under pressure from leaking out of the pump, or from drawing air into the pump when under vacuum conditions.

Every mechanical seal possesses five basic elements: One ring (usually the seal face) circulating synchronously with the rotating part (shaft) Secondary seal (usually O-ring) between shaft and ring. A stationary ring (usually the stationary seat) arranged in the stationary part (casing).
